Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 4 October 2026
These terms apply to purchases made directly through the RookFire Jewellery website.

About RookFire Jewellery
RookFire Jewellery is an independent jewellery business based in the United Kingdom.

Products
We aim to describe and photograph every piece as accurately as possible.
Many RookFire pieces are individually made, finished and polished by hand. Small variations associated with hand finishing may therefore occur between pieces.
Natural gemstones may also vary in colour, pattern, inclusions and appearance. These individual characteristics are part of the stone rather than manufacturing defects.
Product photographs are intended to represent the jewellery accurately, although colours can appear slightly different between screens and lighting conditions.
The material, dimensions, gemstone details, chain information and other specifications stated on the individual product page form part of the product description.
Orders
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase the jewellery shown in your order at the stated price.
You will receive confirmation of your order electronically.
If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any payment already received for the affected item.
We reserve the right to refuse an order where there is a genuine problem with availability, payment, product information or our ability to fulfil the order lawfully.
Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website.
The price payable is the price shown during checkout together with any delivery charges displayed before you place the order.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and other charges imposed by the destination country are the customer's responsibility unless specifically stated otherwise at the time of purchase.
Made to Order Jewellery
Some RookFire jewellery is made after an order is placed. The estimated production or dispatch time will be stated on the relevant product page where applicable.
A standard RookFire design being made after you place your order does not automatically make it a personalised or bespoke item.
Your cancellation and return rights are explained in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Bespoke and Personalised Jewellery
Jewellery made to your individual specification or clearly personalised for you may be exempt from the normal right to cancel an online order.
This may include individually commissioned designs, personalised engraving or other work made specifically to requirements agreed with you.
We will make the agreed specification clear before accepting bespoke or personalised work.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected if an item is faulty, not as described or has not been made in accordance with the agreed specification.
Delivery
Delivery arrangements, international shipping and customs information are explained in our Shipping Policy.
Please ensure that the delivery information supplied with your order is accurate.
Once an order has been dispatched, changes to the delivery address may not be possible.
Returns and Cancellations
Your rights to cancel an eligible online purchase and return jewellery are explained in our Refund and Returns Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
Faulty Jewellery
RookFire jewellery must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its intended purpose and as described.
If you believe an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact hello@rookfire.com with your order details.
Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse or damage caused by unauthorised alteration or repair is not in itself a manufacturing fault.
This does not affect any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Intellectual Property
The jewellery designs, photographs, written content, artwork, branding and other original material displayed on this website belong to RookFire Jewellery or are used with appropriate permission.
They may not be reproduced, copied or used commercially without prior permission.
Website Information
We take reasonable care to keep information on this website accurate and current.
We may update product information, prices, availability and website content from time to time.
Changes will not remove rights that have already arisen under an existing customer order.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy
Personal information provided when using the website or placing an order is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time.
The terms applying to an order are those in effect when that order is placed.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
